Itinerary description
Simple, but surprisingly nice hike from Mestia into the valley of Mestiachala river and then further to the foot of Chalaadi glacier.
If you are not into walking, maybe its not a bad idea to take taxi all the way to the bridge as first 10 km are not that interesting.

Легкий однодневный трек, большую часть можно проехать на такси или автостопом с работниками ГЭС. Ледяных гротов и чистого льда в конце тропы больше нет, но по пути открывается хороший вид на висячий ледник.

We followed your trail during early May 2023, and enjoyed the hike to the fullest.

We drove till the bridge ( now there's a dam under construction ) and from there we hiked up till the glacier.
The views of snow capped mountains, flowing clear water streams and the green forest were all rewarding.
