Itinerary description
Day 1 of trekking Mestia–Ushguli; a warm‐up. Gradual ascent in the beginning, then rather flat.
Would have chosen staying at Tetnuldi Ski Resort instead of the non-descript Chvabiani (yes, there's a most charming hotel up there, which isn't on booking.com at the time of writing; ask for Teo & Merab in the resort).
