Itinerary description
Very lovely hike around Mértola, a nice combination of nature, a pretty village and a diversity of old and ancient buildings.
If you don’t like to climb on hands and knees it’s best to go down to the river and then walk back to hotel and take a right from there. However the views from 2 paths along the river are nice but you have walk them back again or go straight up on a very steep trail.
Otherwise it’s pretty straight forward and not difficult at all, enjoy!

We decided to go straight up the hill but…
This is pretty steep and full of debris, you can also go back to Hotel Museu and go towards your right. It’s doable but be aware..
