Itinerary description
Interesting hike from the car park near the cascades above Mérens-les-Vals up to Etang de Comte en Etang L'Estagnol. Trip is best walked clock wise when it's hot due to the shade you can get on the south side. The north side is more exposed. The views from specially near the L'Estagnol lake are stunning in any direction! Not indicated on all maps you can however walk around the Etang de Comte. The route depicted here is only the return trip. You can actually walk the trail all the way from Merens les Vals, but, it's steep so you better be fit!
