Some climbs are difficult to walk or climb, so weighting hard. Also, the river has to be crossed, either without shoes to the knees through ice cold water or climbing over slippery, mossy stones. Especially on the descent are quite a few places quite difficult. The views are very nice for that. So it's worth the effort.
