Itinerary description
very nice hike but with a difficult off trail part.
we parked on the road from Mdeirej to Ain Dara.
we did the hike as afternoon - sunset hike,
the first part was nice and easy where we followed the old railway passing by several tunnels with very nice views , we reached dahr el baydar train station, the first part of the way back was following a section of the LMT, reaching some shepherds tents, here u can continue directly (much easier) or take our choice of following the LMT signs further and down the valley, at some point we bad to leave the LMT to close the loop, so our way back and up to the top of the mountain was relatively difficult, adventurous and off trail , after reaching the summit , we had to go down the steep mountain to teach our starting point.
very nice hike, we took adventurous options in some part but u can skip it and take alternative , shorter roads on the way back

Waypoint
4,905 ft
u could have avoided the previous small loop if u continue directly , it would have made the hike much easier
