Itinerary description
Because the shuttle didn't stop at Johnson's Lake, we walked the extra mile and half from the lodge. That part of the trail is a horse trail and smells like it, too. Also, you will have to avoid the horse droppings. There are lots of aggressive mosquitoes along this part of the trail, too.
The trail along the north side of the creek was the least crowded trail that we hiked in Glacier. The creek itself was cold, but still great to dip your feet into.
