Sinuwa - MBC

Sixth stage of the ten that make up this trekking .

Spectacular route reaching the highest point of this trek. The ABC at 4100 meters shows some of the beauties of this planet.

Returning again to the MBC, the route is simple and fast to its end: Bamboo.

Annapurna Base Camp

0 min

We start the route at Machhapuchhare Base Camp (MBC), a place where you can spend the night and it is an excellent place as a starting point for different climbing routes.
We went west in search of the MBC's great lodge by a small path.
If we want to see the sunrise, it takes an hour and a half to make the approach to ABC.

5 min

We passed by the side of the great MBC lodge. We will continue climbing through a wasteland undermined by a torrent and leaving the tongue of the South Annapurna Glacier on our right.

1 hour 30 min

We arrived at the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) and although throughout the tour we have been able to glimpse the silhouette of the mountains, it is in this place that we have a splendid panorama of the Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, and many other peaks of equal or greater importance.

1 hour 35 min

A few meters above, away from the base camp, there is a small monument in memory of those who have lost their lives in these mountains.

After picking us up, we take the road back, undoing the route to the MBC.

3 hours

We pass in front of the MCB lodge, and a few meters further on we pass through the lodge.

3 hours 15 min

We return to see the Modi river. From now on we will descend all the time along its left bank.

3 hours 45 min

We go through Deurali. After seeing the rough waters of the river very closely, we move away little by little from the main course.

4 hours 20 min

Without loss we reach Himalaya, this small lodge located almost at 2900 meters high.

The vegetation returns to be present, but also the humidity in the soil.

5 hours

After the long stretch of descent from the ABC (having lost 1600 meters in height), we are in Dovan.

5 hours 30 min

The terrain softens, we lose height at a slower pace.

At the foot of a waterfall, the Bamboo lodge welcomes us. It is the end point of this route.
