Itinerary description
Mazha’aledi
One of Traditional Turkic Uyghur villages in Xinjiang province.
The tourists accessible areas are restored and repaved. If you want to see more authentic sections you might have to walk into one of the unpaved alleys that are not necessarily intended for tourists to walk in.
Ticket price to the village is 30' RMB.
Unfortunately thousand buddhas caves were closed for visitors. We kind of found a side path to enter while driving out of canyon but decided to skip it. Looking back i do regret we didn't climbed down to visit those caves as although much smaller those seems to have way more authentic feel compared to the Bezeklik grottoes.
