Itinerary description
2.5 km was by bus. 16.7 km walking. After 200 metres north along the main road, the track heads east and begins to climb. After the dam, the surface is soil, mud and rock. There was a 20 metre leg of deep mud without an alternative. Luckily the stream was flowing to wash the mud off again. The path is good until you get close to the Adonis Baths. Here it had been washed away in two places that could still be passed safely. Finally there was a 25 metre stretch, completely washed away. I could not pass and I would not advise others to try unless some repairs are made first. You can see from my track log that I found alternative paths so you can still do the walk. After the baths, the paths are better again and there were no further problems. This was a very enjoyable walk.

Thank you Neil for this trail. It inspired me to create another hike of 11 km from the dam itself to the Falls. Check out my version by following jwd2005.
Can I do this route driving a quad? Thank you for sharing :)
Yes - a quad is possible - with some small changes.
