This is not Mauanawili Trail. This is called Demonstration Trail.

That’s cool that’s what dlnr calls it but I work search and rescue here in Honolulu for HFD and that is the “demonstration trail”. Maunawili trail leads to the falls and the river that runs towards Olamana. On the Pali at the hairpin it is “maunawili” but the track displayed passes the maunawili interesectio and continues to Waiamanalo which is the demonstration trail. We have a lot of rescues because people think it’s the maunawili trail but it turns into a 15 mile straight, not loop, trail to waiamanalo and they miss the maunawili
