Itinerary description
Lovely loop around the Maumturks mountains, following the Western Way.
This route starts at Keanes in Maam, and follows the Western Way, all marked. It is gorgeous, easy going trail.
It goes through the Saint Patrick's church at Maumeen-Pass.
In the village of Leenaun I followed the road back to Maam. It's 12km on the road and could be busy with traffic along of it, but the landscape is great. That is the worst bit of the loop.
Very enjoyable.
