Itinerary description
This is a lovely route in Connemara. It is a 30 km loop in Maam Cross. The main road N59 can be quite busy with traffic and the road is narrow. Despite this, going into the Maumturk mountaing is just impressive. You'll find just 5 km of mountain trail when reaching Saint Patrick Church. The other roads are quiet and a wonderful landscape.
Actually, off the N59 road, this track follows the popular Western Way, so you'll find signals along the way.
