Più che Matterhorn direi Stockhorn Thun
The trail is full of beautiful sights and - if done right - moderate to walk. First of all, the starting point provided is not exact. Depending from the direction you come: walk up or down the highway until you not only find a proper entrance but one with a serpentine marked by wooden fences (not the one with stonewalls, you will walk up the wrong side of the hill!) Make sure your mobile phone does not run out of battery along the way, the "path" is in long streches not obvious to follow. We skipped climbing up to the top of the mountain because it was very steep and seemed dangerous. But there is a wonderful plateau about half-up the Mountain where you can chill and picnic with a great view on mount Etna as well. Finding your path without the App in the last strech of the round-way is challenging but doable. Make sure to do not challenge sunset because - in March at least - you will not meet a soul all the way except sheeps and foxes ;) But we even though we encountered some troubles we had a greeeeeat and beautiful time!
