Matte - Nüschlete - Laseberg - Furgge - Alpwirtschaft Matten (walk over the mountainridge)

Amazing hike over the "Allmederitz". If you do this hike you should't be affraid of heights and feel comfortable crossing a tricky path. Also check the weather beforehand as rain will make it more slippery and dangerous. It's not an official path but you can see foodsteps along the way. I did this walk in summer so without snow.

You can drive all the way up to Alpwirtschaft Matten by car and park there. Down in the village at the start of the road you can buy a "bewilligung" from a machine of 10,- to go up the road. (You can also reach the hike via the Chrindi middle station of the Stockhornbahn).

I started and ended the route from the Alpwirtschaft Matten (but didn't record the first part). It's 20 minutes up the mountain to the start (which is already an amazing viewpoint by itself) of this recorded hike. From there you follow the ridge up. After 15 min or so there's a boulder that kind of blocks the road on a steep slope. This one is a bit tricky to climb over (I wouldn't go under it because it's very steep there). After this the path is quite clear as you basically follow the whole ridge up to the top of Laseberg where a marked route brings you down again to Alpwirtschaft Matten. During the ridge you have a couple of very steep grass slopes up and down. Also the path is very narrow with big drops on both sides.

Note on the recorded time: As it was foggy my girlfriend decided not to join (And because the staff of the Alpwirtschaft told us that 3 weeks before a guy had to be picked up of the ridge by helicopter because he got too scared). She waited at the viewpoint at the start and therefore I did it quicker without a break. I think you should calculate about 3.5 hours for the whole route on a normal pace.
