Itinerary description
Very long ride. The problem in this round is the last climb to Matheran where there are two iron stairs followed by a very treacherous rock tract. I had to climb like a cat and I felt a little fear. The ride in the jungle is as pleasant as ever. The path should always be open even after the monsoons because the people of the villages continuously pass.

I had done the Pisarnath ladder trail back in Monsoon 2015 from Chowk-Irshalwadi-Umbernewadi. It had bamboo ladders back and it somehow added to the experience. The iron ladders have made it easier but the rock patch above it remains a treacherous climb for everyone except the local people. Will try and attempt it from Dodhani next time!
I did it from Pisarnath route where no ladder as on today. Instead a tree trunk placed to climb on the rock patch, we thrilled while ascend. Such a amazing experience.
