Itinerary description

The walk starts and ends in Matagne-la-Petite.

You leave the village in the southern direction, and at km 0.7, just before a big farm building, you turn right taking a gravel road. The road continues up, at certain moment narrows into a path, opening nice views on fields and small forests. At moments the road was very muddy (we did it in March).

At km 2.4 you reach asphalt road on which you continue for about 200 metres, and then you take a forest road on your right. For around 2 km you continue walking through beautiful forest and meadows, reaching an archaeological site (km 4.7).

You go back from the archaeological site, and after around 700 metres you turn left: from there you continue on a forest road until km 7, where you arrive to Matagne-la-Grande. From Matagne-la-Grande to Matagne-la-Petite we continued back on the asphalt road with some traffic.
