Itinerary description

Cerca de la frontera con Argelia, a unos 50 kilómetros, hemos realizado esta ruta que discurre por las dunas de Erg Chebbi, una de las formaciones dunares más atractivas del Sahara marroquí, donde además de sentir la grandeza del desierto podemos identificar diferentes especies vegetales que son capaces de sobrevivir en este medio tan inhóspito.
El acercamiento hasta el punto en el que empezamos a andar lo hicimos en autobús desde Merzouga (7,3 Km.), desde este punto la ruta la realizamos a pie hasta llegar al punto más alto (860 m.), para luego descender y terminar en el Albergue Les Pyramides (7,4 Km. aproximadamente)

Near the border with Algeria, about 50 kilometers, we have made this route that runs through the dunes of Erg Chebbi, one of the most attractive dune formations of the Moroccan Sahara, where in addition to feeling the greatness of the desert we can identify different plant species that Are able to survive in this inhospitable environment.
The approach to the point where we started walking was made by bus from Merzouga (7.3 km), from this point the route is made on foot until reaching the highest point (860 m.), Then descend and Ending at the Les Pyramides Hostel (approximately 7.4 Km)
