Itinerary description

I was with friends and arrived by car to start the hike. At 10:15 ish there was plenty of parking. You can take 460 bus from Costa Adeje bus station. The journey is around 1 hour 15 minutes to bus stop Santiago del Teide T (4673). From here take the Masca bus 335 to Buenavista getting off at stop Cruz de Hilda. The stop is next to Mirador La Cruz de Hilda Restaurant. Please be aware of return bus. It's very unlikely you will get a taxi from Masca. The trail to Morro de la Galera is one of fantastic views. A good head for heights is required in places. We did not reach the end due to one of our party being grumpy. He is 3 years old and was carried by his parents when required for safety reasons. Sadly on our day there was a dust cloud over Tenerife which limited our views. I still give this route a 6 out of 5. I think the best route I have done on Tenerife to-date.
We did go off trail at one point when we were over excited with the views over Masca. Please be aware of this. Also yet again my trail wasn't fully recorded correctly at the start of the route and doesn't show any elevation. The screen shot is from Maps.me which I recommend you download.
