Itinerary description
Start point was at the MiRa (visitor centre) carpark. Top up water bottles/bladder at free water station out front.
Public toilets, playground and lake walk adjacent carpark.
This trail was undulating and very attractive with an abundance of tree ferns and water courses.
There were a few steep inclines along the trail towards the falls end.
The 800m ascent to the top of falls lookout was slow going but pleasant to stop and enjoy my sandwich.
I pondered the Keppel Lookout option but resisted the urge due to lateness in the day and humidity.
Return is same trail was just as nice, more downhill on the return which was good.
Seating was available at random intervals but mostly it’s non-stop till reaching the falls area.
