Many consider Mary Pitcher Falls difficult to access however forest road improvements and a short walk downstream put these falls well within reach:

Walk down short ATV track to tree line and enter trail on left, follow orange flagging tape to Mary Pitcher Brook - depending on water level rock jump in the brook or follow bank edge for 1km to Mary Pitcher Falls.

Mary Pitcher Falls

Over 100' in height make these the grand daddy of all falls on the brook.

I think the proper name is Mary Pritcher. My Dad used to fish at Mary Pritcher Lake and I remember thinking what an odd name it had.

Perhaps you’re right? Geographic names sometimes get lost or changed through the years. Be interesting to see what is printed on the original grant plans. One thing is for certain; it’s a wonderful waterfall 👍
