Itinerary description
A nice stroll from Mariastein centre to the château. Stunning views from the top. If you arrive from Basel by car, there is a free car park at the mouth of the village. If car is not your choice you can cycle or take the train from Basel SBB to Flüh.
Once in the village take the trail towards the chateau. There is a point in the trail where you cross France on foot in the middle of nature. Pretty cool! That’s the beauty of living in the centre of Europe I suppose!
