Itinerary description
Stunning coastline scenery, building as you ascend the sloping clifftop plateau, culminating in the high point both literally and figuratively at the peaks of Bishop and Clerk. Very windy conditions when we were there, but jaw-droppingly beautiful sweeping views across ocean, back on the historic settlement at Darlington, and across to the Freycinet peninsula.
Easily accomplished as a day hike from the ferry drop off point, with time to see the historic landmarks on Maria Island - an unspoilt island off an island off an island.
