Itinerary description
Een geweldig mooie route vanuit het kleine schilderachtige dorpje Marchastel (Lozere). Vooral in het voorjaar prachtig I.v.m. de grote hoeveelheid bloemen. Het bijzondere landschap van de Aubrac verbaast elke keer weer, vergezichten, rotsformaties, waterval en mooie dorpjes.
De route is nergens moeilijk of gevaarlijk. Wel oppassen bij de waterval, Cascade du Déroc, want er staan geen hekjes... Als je onder de waterval doorloopt kan het heel glad zijn. Om weer op de route te komen liepen wij een stukje door het weiland en over privé grond. Dat wordt uiteraard niet altijd gewaardeerd.

Hi! I want to do this trail in August but I’m a bit concerned because I guess you mention something about trespassing private properties? Is that correct?

Yes, after the waterfall, we went down and crossed a private property. If you go the same way up again after you went to the waterfall you can avoid it. Then it is a few 100 meters the same way back and you miss nothing. It is a very nice walk and in August it must be different than June... Succes.
