Itinerary description
Random not well planned walk from Marcheovo up into the hills of Vitosha. On the way you pass a stream, an abandoned building, a possible quarry, a zaslon, cliffs being used by rock climbers and if it’s spring, lots of wildflowers. You end on the top of an unknown and relatively undramatic peak good for resting on the soft grass. Part of the trail is Vitosha 100. You can avoid the first ascent which is not possible by bike by going right onto Vitosha 100 which joins other wide tracks heading up to then peaks. From the trail’s end you can continue in the direction of Cherni Vruh though I don’t know the connection.
