Itinerary description
From Maple Heart is 4km on logging roads to the TH. Easy walking, watch out for bears. Two crossed my path soon after leaving Maple Heart. From TH trail is flat all the way to Kinsol. Very easy walking. Make sure and stop for lunch at West Shawnigan Provincial Park. It’s right on the lake so you can go for a dip too! Not a lot of options for camping. I just waited till late in the day and pitched my tent at the bottom of the Trestle beside a picnic table. There are toilets here too so very convenient place to get some rest.
