Itinerary description
Starting at the Ranger Station, head uphill behind the buildings to catch the Manzanita Trail which is mostly level. At Stagecoach Trail, turn right to head down towards the river. You will come to a T-intersection at Bridgeview trail. After viewing the river, turn around to return. It is a steady mile-long climb on the return! This hike is largely unprotected from the sun and is definitely not recommended for hot days.
