A highly recommended route that combines the sporty, scenic and cultural aspect.
At night a strong storm fell and it seemed that the river was going to take us. We get up early and have a good day. Breakfast as everything in this lodge very well.
As we leave, we go to the kitchen and we thank the family that takes it, how well they have treated us. We return to the road and pass through the town of Dhoban. Its inhabitants have already started their tasks. The road follows the river side and combines narrow passages with wider plains. We go through small towns and enjoy the smiles of girls and boys. In Keraunja we have to stop because a large caravan of mules arrives carrying the luggage of some expedition that returns from Manaslu. We take this opportunity to play with the kids of the town for a while.
We continue and the path takes us again to the banks of the Gandaki. To pass it now we have to go by a platform located several meters from the level of it. Upon returning from the trip we learned that this construction was made after the strong earthquake in Nepal in 2015. Here the link to the interesting newspaper "Nepali Times"
where he explains how this work was done including a spectacular video.

We arrived at Jagat. It is a larger town that has a small power station. You have to pass a control and Achut takes care of it.
We eat something and continue to Philim where a group of children welcome us. The town is hanging over the river. It makes good temperature and we take advantage of to give us a good shower with cold water. The lodge is very good and we enjoyed dinner.
Waypoints
CAMINO VOLADIZO
It is not a bridge. It is a long iron structure attached to the wall to save the Gandaki River. The 2015 earthquake in this area was tremendous. Hill the step completely. The villages had to be supplied by helicopter. The treeking was closed several months. Apart from fixing the road in places like this, they had to be used thoroughly so that the inhabitants of the valley and its inhabitants could pass. KARAUNJA
In this town located in a beautiful place we are going to stop a good time. A caravan of mules arrives with material from several expeditions. We do not see any mountaineers accompanying her. They must have gone down by helicopter. We take this opportunity to share a little time with the children and the inhabitants of the town. As in the whole tour highlight the strong contrasts: Precarious construction of houses but with the use of satellite dishes, mobile telephony and solar panels.
