(Himàlaia) Route on 10/8/2014; 6.5 km; +660 -60; 3.5 hours. Stage with the following itinerary: Samdo, Larkya Bazar, Dharamshala. Output type: linear crossing; Difficulty: easy.
This will be a short step, in order to rest some of the one from yesterday and prepare for the toughest tomorrow. In the morning we left Samdo a little after 8:00. From the current 3860m we have to reach Dharamshala which is 4460m. This stage should allow us to recover the forces consumed the previous day. It also allows us to climb 700 meters and reach us at the height of the hill at all our trekking, Larkya-La (5220m), which we will do the next day.
The surroundings are from peaks and snowy ridges. The day is magnificent. To the southwest we have the mountain range that forms the various peaks of Manaslu, with Manaslu Nord (6994m) and Larkya Peak (6249m). We will start our journey crossing the stream that descends from the Gyala (5973m) and we will soon reach the abandoned village of Larkya Bazaar.
