We started the Ice Lake trip at 7:45 in the morning, this time without a backpack as it is a round trip in the day. The start is in plain at first as you have to backtrack again from Manang to Braka, where you take the path of ascent to the Ice Lake. Once we start the ascent it is a continuous positive slope of more than 1000 meters in about 5 km, which means that we have to stop at all times because the height is noticeable in the lack of oxygen. It seems an endless climb but finally we reached the Ice Lake from where we enjoyed unparalleled views. If you manage to make this climb you should not have any problems crossing the Thorong La Pass. And now we have to start the descent, which is just as strong, and it is noticeable in the knees ... when we finally arrive back at Manang, it seems to me a lie. I think tomorrow I can not move. To dine and to bed !!!!
