Itinerary description
Cross the creek (sometimes dry), then narrow switchbacks through residential neighborhood. Join with the main road. Peel off on the dirt road to the left. Mostly wooded and shady for about the next 2-3 miles. Optional loop that takes you up to the fire lookout. Great views from here. Then back down some sweeping hillside dirt road tracks with views down into the valley. Maybe 1-2 miles and there is an almost invisible trail on the left -- quite steep and gravelly at the end, then it rejoins the dirt road. Eventually there is a very steep paved (but no traffic) downhill. Some slightly rolling, then it ends up back in Malveira da Serra.
