Itinerary description
Trail is very enjoyable, views are awesome, it is not very step but it is still exhausting. We should have started earlier.
On the way up from Sibinj there aren't many view points. You are walking at the bottom of the valley. Trail is 90% in shadow and there are many needles to avoid and spiderwebs to untangle from. Only met one snake when crossing the road near the Malić top.
Most people take this trail in reverse so they return in the shadow. We were in luck when returning from Malić as clouds from near storms closed the sun, there was some Bura wind helping lover the temperature... We said yolo and survived :)
On the way down, from crossroads to Kozice there is 30% shadow. Now you are walking at the top of the hill you were observing from the valley. Also, trail gets rocky and lose rocks make it very hard on trail running snickers. Hiking boots advised to save ankles and sole stability makes it more comfortable.
We didn't change wet socks and managed without blisters.
Trail isn't technically difficult (except the rocky part due to snickers) or step but it is very long and exposed to wind and sun on the way down.
We would not dare to take the trail down with direct sun.
Wind: 4-8 m/s near the sea, and later on 0 then after 600m it starts to cool again.
Temperature: 27
Cloudy on the way back.
