Itinerary description
Mount Shpirag is seen prominently in the right when approaching the city of Berat. It appears as a mountain with stripes from the ridge to the east and the west of it. It is well known like a little brother of Mount Tomorr. Mali I Shpiragut 1198 m is a very easy hike. There are many ways to reach the summit of it. One is from a small village Galine in a traverse from south to north. Another it is from Sinje that where we start to go in the summit of it. At the start of the trail, you can see also a church of St. Mary from the XII-XIII century. From the top of the mountain is possible to see the Ionian Sea and the island of Sazan, all the prominent mountain of the south of Albania, Mount Tomorr, etc.
