Itinerary description
Mali i Papatit is almost as high as Dajti Mountain, and both the drive to its trailhead (Wikiloc #4701930) and the climb offer wonderfull insights into the area hidden behind Dajti Mountain and the entire front range near Tirana.
From the trailhead, a short dirt road and then a mule path lead up to the meadows of the south ridge of Papatit. The well visible path is exposed in places as it climbs to the ridge. Once on the ridge, follow it to the top via a few false summits. It is best to stay on the very ridge-line.
The name of the the mountain (Mali i Papatit) is somewhat of a mystery, as the shepherd on the ridge was unsure about its name. The very visible round knob is little lower than Papatit itself.
