Itinerary description
Mali i Hajmelit is the very visible ridge to west of the Lezha - Shkodra Road. Part of this ridge looks very rocky (and is indeed very difficult to follow). The highest point, on the northern end of the ridge, on a roundish looking summit, can be reached in a short but very rewarding hike.
We put in some waypoints (along the Fishte-Hajmel road) for finding the trailhead. From the trailhead, the trail follows through some farmhouses - when reaching a dirt road, turn left for about 10 Meter and turn right off the road again.
The final ascent to the summit is quite steep, but never exposed.

Completed April 2014. A straightforward hike for Albania. Props to the Palms for another great route. The views over Vau i Dejes, its dam/lake, and Shkoder were super!
