Itinerary description
There are two trails to reach the summit of Gramoz (Cuka e Pecit 2523 M) one from Starje and another from Rehove village. This time we started from a small but very beautiful village Rehove. If you chose the other way from Starje you will have the possibility at 2370 altitude to see the glacial lake of mount Gramoz. The trail starts from unpaved road and continued to a pine forest. After you leave the forest, you will follow up across the meadows sometime in this season covered by soft snow. At 6.5 km the trail goes left and up and you have to be attention because the slope is around 60°-70° and the ridge of the mountain is built of slabs and big stones so when going up to this ridge is better to be careful because of slabs and stones fall. Once the ridge is reached you only have to walk up and down until you reach the summit. The elevation gain of this trail is 1610 M.
