Itinerary description
The mountain hut is located on the pleasant and sunny grassy ridge right below the pyramid-shaped mountain of the same name while, to the north, it is bordered by the wild valley of Entralais and Monte Cimon.
Along with the walk to the Digola pass, this is one of the “classic” routes, very popular and pleasurable due to the variety of areas and panoramas it offers. After a long passage through fir trees, under the steep, looming rock faces of Monte Geu, the landscape suddenly opens up with very beautiful views of the Siera group, the distant Popèra, all the mountains to the north of Sappada and, of course, the Valle del Sole. Recommendation for lovers of authentic food:excellent dairy products are on sale in the mountain hut!And for the thirsty:the precious mineral waters found along the route.
