Itinerary description
I have separately uploaded the hike towards Makra Summit from Paye meadows, now this is the return trip from Summit.
on October 31st, 2021
Trek from Makra Top to Paye meadows in Autumn. 2-3 feet snow.
Marka serves it's name with numerous ridges and routes to it's summit. Years later I tried one from Kashmir side. Makra summit is on the border of KPK and AJK. There are a dozen routes that come to it's top from Kashmir side.
I noticed that when I was on the summit of Makra in 2021. That is why it is called a treacherous mountain where people get lost easily.
I went with a commercial tour operator. The plan was made spontaneously as most of the highways were blocked due to protest so i called Rizwan, who runs Tour Rangers, and he had a seat which I reserved and did the packing very quickly and left for it.
You can read about my whole trip on my blog at following link.

Waypoints
Risk
11,250 ft
Risky descend by dangerous ridge
I tried a different path as compared to others and earlier when we hiked up towards the summit. It was a decisive and divisive ridge and I was away from rest of the group. It was risky but also learning experience
Waypoint
10,945 ft
End of the risk steep Descend
Finally off the mountain and straight walk ahead. Almost straight.
