Makarska with Mount Biokovo in the background
Makarska is 60 km from Split and 150 km from Dubrovnik. It is actually a territory of 60 km where sit small fishing ports at the foot of the Biokovo massif. Quay that these fishing ports are now seaside resorts for mass tourism. The natural beauty of the Makarska River, the sea, the beautiful beaches, as well as the nightlife on the quays of these villages make this place a favorite destination for many tourists who arrive on vacation in Croatia.
