Itinerary description
Maja e Topit in Munell is 1926m. We started the hike at Gurth-Spac. The road from Reps up to the Gurth-Spac pass through old Communist Prison-Spac. The road is not paved, it is roughly 12 Km but it should be new road as it is not on the Google map. You need at least SUV to travel on this road.
The trail is no easy to find so I would suggest either to use GPS or to have a local guide.
This hike is consider more than moderate level in winter. It start at 760m and has an elevation gain of roughly 1670m. It took us roughly in 5h to hike in winter with snow 3.5h to descent. The length of the trail up to the summit is 8.7km. The last 150m are with more than 50 grade slope.
Once on the summit you have great view.
