Itinerary description
Maja e Stogoit (1825m) nga Lepenica
Maja e Stogoit or Maja e Qiramanges as you can find on the map, can be hiked from two routes. First route is from Dukat and second route is from Lepenice.
We followed the route from Lepenice which is located at Shushica Valley at altitude 160m. The trailhead start just at the center of the village, closed to main road. The first 2km goes on a village road paved and unpaved. Then you turn right and proceed up on a trail with small stones. Trail is beautiful but not marked at all. You will need a GPS for such hike. At distance 3.6km the route goes through Pines and Quercus tree. At 6km and altitude 1300m we reached some beautiful meadows. Distance up to the summit is 8.4km and we did for 4h. As the trailhead is at the altitude 160m the elevation gain is high, roughly 1700m.
On the summit the view is beautiful.
