Itinerary description

Peak of Mesimeri has an elevation of 1,694 meters and is situated southeast of Maja e Çikës. It is a very beautiful hike because from the top of the mountain you can see from one part the Ionian see and from the other the valley of Shushica. The trail starts from Vranisht, a small village. The road to reach the start point is paved, except the last 3 km, but not in bad condition. After the start you have to pass the village up until you will catch the trail. At the elevation 825m or 2,4 km from the start you will catch the stream of the dry river and you have to continued for 1 km until you have to deviate in right to continued with the trail in direction of the peak. After reaching the peak we decide to descent from the other part. At 9.3 km from the start we notice a very big stone called the Table of God or the Stone in Sky, this is religious place where the local go very often.
