Itinerary description
Mount Dhëmbel is a mountain in southern Albania in the geographical region of Southern Mountain Range. It is part of the mountain chain Trebeshinë-Dhëmbel-Nemërçkë. We started the hike from the small and very nice city of Permet. For the ascent we take the direction of Leuse village. This direction is not well marked but the trail is visible and easy to find. After that we take the mountain ridge till the peak of Dhembel. The view from the top is magnificent. We descent from the other part in direction of the Lipe village. This trail is well market but is longer so we try to cut for short in some places. I classified moderate only for the elevation gain 1900 m and the total length 20.3 km.
