Itinerary description
Maja e Buze Derrit is located on West side of Luzat Village. Luzat is part of Tepelene Municipally and is located 1.6km from the main National Road on an altitude of 250m. We followed the road through the village and got the south direction, we faced some dogs during our path till we went out of the village. The trail proceed up on the south-west side of the village. At 1km from the trailhead we turned left and proceeded. This part of the trail is easy to be followed till 2.15km. At this point we could not see any path so we just went up to the hill till we found the trail. After that we followed up and proceeded according to the Spur with direction to West(1700).
The Summit is 8.8km from the trailhead and we did it in 3h40’. On the top the view is wonderfull, on the east side we could see Vjosa valley and Mountain Chain Shendelli-Lunxheri-Bureto. On the west side there is Cika ridge and on the North there is Këndërvica Summit.
We ascended from the north side. Data for the this hike are as follows:
