Itinerary description
Maja Arapit 2218m
Maja e Arapit is located on North of Theth,Shkoder. Trailhead start from Theth at elevation 750m. The trail is easy to follow. The first 3km proceed through village umpaved road. The trail is marked up to Qafa e Pejes which is 9km from the trailhead and altitude 1700m. After that we did not see any sign, you will need a GPS device for that.
The last water source during the trail is at 4.48km altitude 950m. After you reach Qafa e Pejes you should turn left on the direction of Maja Arapit. Distance back and forth 21.5km with an elevation gain of 1740m.
It gets 5h to reach the summit and 9h in total. Once you reach the summit will have magnificant view arounds Alps.

I took the trail today on a cloudy / rainy day 15.11.2022. It took 8 hours from my guesthouse (rashkadolli). The trail is quite easy until quefa e pefes, but gets more difficult as closing the peak. The unofficial part was marked with stone piles but definitely recommend having GPS with you (I used wikitrail app on my phone)
