Itinerary description
An easy and fun 10 km trail that goes up the Paljakka hill (where the top of the ski lifts are), and back down in a loop. Mostly on hill paths of varying width, but all easy to follow with no exposed or difficult parts.
The trail is maintained and very well marked by the Paljakka resort: just follow the pink trail and signs, and you'll be fine even without constantly checking your GPS track (but of course, a GPS backup is always recommended on the trail).
I marked the difficulty as "medium" because of some more narrow trails and a short part on boards surrounded by marsh, but anyone can do it easily.
In the second half of the trail, the track joins a secondary road that goes through some farms with grazing animals and dogs, so keep it in mind if you hiking with pets and use a leash on that part.
Near the beginning there's a small camping spot if you want to bring some food and barbecue it on the fire.

A great panorama of the ski center and surrounding forests. It's a 100 meters detour from the trail that's definitely worth it.

Sheep!
The trail goes through some farms, so keep your dog on a leash if you're hiking with your pet. There are also some cows later on.

Trail turns left on some wooden boards. Hard to spot because of the vegetation, but keep an eye for the trail sign.

End of the board walk.
The end of the board walk. I accidentally paused my GPS until the next waypoint, but just follow the single trail, can't get lost.
