Itinerary description
It's a very nice hiking tour up a mountain and down through a river bed. Back on the Lasithi Plateau you may add a visit at the Diktaio Cave, a stalactite cave where Zeus was born. I saw many vultures there; one of them came really close. But, of course, there are also beautiful flowers and butterflies, lizards and other animals. Some time before you at the peak of the Toumba mountain there are many agressive dogs. It was frightening but they were all on a leash.
