Itinerary description
This nature trail is one of the most picturesque hikes in the Troodos area.
Starting and finishing at Mountain Adventure Park in the village of Kyperounta, it follows a clearly defined path that is steep and rugged in places, but mostly wooded to provide welcome shade.
There are very few flat sections. You are either going uphill or downhill.
No water en route so carry plenty. However, the Adventure Mountain Park is a great place for food and drinks either before or after.
Ignore all the mile markers, they make no sense! Every one of them say two or three kilometres but from or to where is never made clear.
Not an easy hike, and the last few miles in either direction involve a steep climb, but every step is worth it for the views.
