Itinerary description
Covers most official macritchie trails and ends via Rifle Range park,passing by most landmarks like jelutong tower, treetop walk, satellites, and a quarry.
Recommended for at least average fitness, trail running, and does not require extra hiking gear (like hiking sticks).
Incline: moderate, some steep incline(after treetop walk)
Terrain: Beaten soil/ slightly muddy paths. Some boardwalk and paved roads.
At least 1 resting stop per km within Rifle Range Park and MacRitchie Reservoir. There is little to no resting points after treetop walk to Rifle Range Park.
Start early to avoid strong sun as there are some uncovered stretches. Animals are docile; keep a safe distance away from monkeys and keep plastic bags/ wrappers out of sight.
