Itinerary description
Nice hiking for begginers who want to chalange themselves. The loop offers great views and passes through 2 lakes. You can follow the main path (road) in the beggining of the trail until you reach the Máméan Chapel and from there you can hike straight up to the first lake, probably avoiding some bog areas I had to walk through.
When you are descending to the second lake near Maumahoge Saddle there is a small scramble that can be avoided if you take some time to look for options around.
The last part of the trail before you reach the road is a bog so waterproog hiking boots are recommended and trekking poles will help you through the up and downs of the loop.
Both lakes are nice places to rest for a while and if the weather is warm enough you can even go for a swmin in the second one.
